One of the most popular items over the past few years has been The Craft Beer Advent Calendar. It has sold out ever year as part of a growing trend of grown up advent calendars.

If you want to have one of the good advent calendars, you need to be looking for them now. The LEGO ones have landed at Costco and the LEGO store, and the Craft Beer Advent Calendar is on pre-order now at your favorite retailer.

Here’s what you need to know if you want to order a Craft Beer Advent Calendar:

-Calendars will be available in Canada only (AB, BC, MB, NL, SK, YT). Calendars will not be available in the U.S.

– You cannot buy the calendar direct from the distributor, and they cannot ship the Craft Beer Advent Calendar to you.

The Craft Beer Advent Calendar will start arriving on shelves through fall. Last year, the calendar sold out quickly. If you want to buy one of these calendars, contact your favorite craft beer retailer and ask to pre-order the calendar to avoid disappointment. Some have been taking orders since the spring.

About The 2014 Craft Beer Advent Calendar

2014 Craft Beer Advent CalendarThe first edition of the Craft BeerAdvent® Calendar was distributed in 2012. The demand was so intense that retailers were sold out in days. It featured a roster of European craft brews. In 2013 the production was increased to supply the demand. The calendar sold out again and featured beers from North America.

How much does the 2014 Craft Beer Advent Calendar cost?

That depends. Liquor laws are different across the country. Some are free market, some are government controlled. Expect to pay between $6 and $7 per beer. I’ve seen prices as low as $130, and as high as $170.

My boys even love the Craft Beer Advent Calendar. Each morning, they bounce down the stairs to open their chocolate or LEGO door, and then they move to my big box to take turns finding Daddy’s beer. Once found, we put it in the fridge so it’s ready later that night after a long day.

Kids are good, they bring you beer!

Have fun with your calendar, enjoy the season and ..ahem .. Merry Christmas!
