[twitter]Carl Weathers has had quite the career.

From the legendary Apollo Creed to playing “himself” in Arrested Development he’s had quite a career for a former football player. You didn’t know? Weathers played for the Oakland Raiders, and then did a couple of years with the BC Lions before hanging up the cleats and turning to acting. A few years later, he was Rocky‘s nemesis. Dwayne Johnson could hope for half the career Weathers has had.

We chatted about his football days, what fans remember most about his movies, and what he likes to be reminded of when meeting people at shows like the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo.
